The Peregrine Youth

We are the fabled ones
To rove the earth’s ends
From blustery
Hebridean isles
To the echo of the sun
In the souks of Morocco.
We are traveling
In search of a journey
And of people not places
For what value
To have tasted the Sahara
Or have felt Uist sigh
If you do not stop to find the people
That make the places.
