I’m trapped inside our world called masquerade

I only see an identity parade

Those people hiding who they are

Whose demons are not lurking far

in their mind

Hiding and trying to deceive us all

Waiting for our time to fall

Building their circus of lies and true deceit

But you and I can see through their cheat

My friends and their guidance keeps me reassured

I know I’m safe if those clowns try to lure me

Into darkness and realms of hate

You keep me safe from that awful fate
