Pomegranate, denim, lavender

Swirling, melting, enticing

Behind this mask of vibrant shades

lies a compromise of black and white

Hindering the tint from seeping in

we deny the darker hues

For a single drop of midnight paint

taints this flawless stream

Once these colours begin to bleed

our lavish façade will fade and recede
