Potential

In a word
or glance, so much can be said
volumes of emotion
meaning, definition, truth
lies.
Words topple governments,
raise them up
words create, destroy, or fill empty

space

How do you use your words?
Do you veneer the rough sentiments
habitually spilling forth from your gaping mouth
or do you laud the ephemeral elegance with which
you are blessed to speak?

Your words hold great power.
Invest them wisely.
