Dialogue of the Forgotten Victims

2,974 dead from 9/11 – appropriated for purposes of propaganda says:
Hey, we have a question for everyone…
Why has the world gone so insane over our relatively small number of deaths yet seems to be incapacitated when it comes to the daily deaths from hunger?

24,000 who die DAILY from hunger – and hunger-related disease says:
We ask our selves that all the damn time.
We would like to know why are we so often relegated to being buried in the back pages of the news. Or not even buried, just left out all together. Especially because it seems like people do know whats going on, so that can’t be the whole story.

87,859 dead Afghan (6,303) and Iraqi civilians (81,556) – in the colonial/resouces wars (thanks to NATO, the Americans and Canadians) says:
Perhaps your daily deaths are too much for people to deal with and people just decide to live without thinking about it. At least our deaths are more managable and preventable.

24,000 who die daily from hunger – and hunger-related disease says:
While we agree with your first point, we gotta say that our deaths are also preventable. There is enough food in the world to keep us from dying, there is just a lack of political will to direct resouces here.

2,974 dead from 9/11 – appropriated for purposes of propaganda says:
Perhaps it is because the major media outlets are telling people that the we, the 2,974 dead, are more important than all the other victims. Shit, people have been sold on spending nearly a trillion dollars a year for revenge for our deaths, which have caused the Afghan and Iraqi deaths. But even worse is that these people cannot even find the courage to spend 1% of that trillion to help prevent the deaths of the rest of you.

Millions projected to die from climate change – hopefully we can stop this says:
We still dont get how people are so capable of forgetting about all of these deaths. Further more, it scares me that so many people don’t even realize how much they are at least indirectly implicated in our deaths.

24,000 who die daily from hunger – and hunger-related disease says:
One could see how easy it is to forget. There are a lot of things that are very fun and distracting, and these deaths are very far from the parts of the world that do the most to perpetuate these deaths.

2,974 dead from 9/11 – appropriated for purposes of propaganda says:
But isn’t this a globalizing world, where everyone is connecting with everyone else? It seems that average folks assume that they cannot make any difference, so they dont even try. And the elites are quite good at controlling the agenda. People have lost hope and also lost the knowledge that they can make a difference.

87,859 dead Afghan (6,303) and Iraqi civilians (81,556) – in the colonial/resouces wars (thanks to NATO, the Americans and Canadians) says:
Ya, we totally agree, there there are many ways people could help. It really comes down to deciding you are going to do your part and taking the time to learn what to do. The information, the training, the whatever one needs to help stop these forgotten deaths, is available. All you have to do is ask and look. You have a voice. Use it or it becomes useless and the forgotten remain forgotten.

2,974 dead from 9/11 – appropriated for purposes of propaganda says:
Agreed.
